Ymgarl genestealers were in the original Rogue Trader skirmish game, Ymgarl being the moon they were first found on. 4 armed dudes with tentacles for heads were the order of the day. They went were developed to be the genestealers we all know and love.
Also, extremely excited about this, but I'm finding nowhere with stock :/

I got my copy of the Collector's Edition today, and I wish I could magically know all the new rules because I haven't wanted to run a game this badly since... well, since Dark Heresy came out.

This looks like a nice way to round off my current Games Workshop spending spree (bloody Space Hulk's gone and started a damned fire in my bank account). And, while I'm here, FFG haven't given you a mass market relese date for this beastie, have they?

Also, glad to see you're back, Fat Rab. Red, green. Red. Red, green.

Nice. I seriously need to pick that up. There is but one thing stopping me - I lack at this time, people to play it with. My gaming buddies would probably not get into roleplaying enough to really get the full experience (not just in terms of in-character behaviour, I mean the P&P RPG experience itself).

That said, I have some friends who really, really love 40k, and the fluff. I could probably press gang those into it. I understand that the book is worth having purely for the fluff/artwork. Would you agree?
