[...] Two Downtime Towns in a week? You are treating us, Rab. Here’s him on the nifty-sounding Summoner Wars. [...]
[...] Wars. This two player card game is getting a lot of positive reviews at the moment, including over here at Downtime Town – the Little Metal Dog review will be coming next week after I’ve played a few more [...]
Looks like a sweet little game. You should check out Dungeoneer, which this reminded me of. Dungeoneer has a neat clean rule set and is just based on cards, but is more of a Dungeoncrawl/Lite-RPG. I loved it (it’s cheap too!).
Anyhow I’ll try and pick up a copy of this if I see it about.
I’ve always fancied Dungeoneer. Small games are amazing, because my god this hobby takes up a lot of space.
The pre orders for the deluxe boards are up.

good to see you back doing these reviews robert! Is there any news on your own boardgame design?
It’s still formulating. Aiming to get a prototype up and running for summer time.
Let’s say I’m going to grab one card-based duel-y game to add to the collection, since it needs some 2-player+ love: Summoner Wars or MtG:Planechase?
That was another decent video Robert
Thanks very much. Are you still playing Chaos in the Old world? I got it for my birthday last month and it’s the best game I have played since perhaps…bloodbowl or our custom Risk games. It’s bloody good.
Yep, Chaos still comes out regularly. It is fantastic. Still fantastic.
Robert, I like you celling fan, I have one just like it!
Brilliant review Rab. On the strength of your and Little Metal Dog’s review I’m sat watching the door waiting for delivery of this great looking game. How about a Forbidden Island review?
